Beyond the curriculum

At SOAR, we believe extracurricular activities are vital in developing rounded, balanced students who enrich the life of the school as well as fulfilling their academic potential. We have a huge range of activities outside of the curriculum provide wonderful learning experiences, whilst helping to broaden and enrich education. We believe that if we want to see students reach their highest potential, we must build a relationship with them that goes beyond the curriculum.

Our students have many opportunities to take part in extracurricular activities which are organized by school staff or external agencies both during and after school. School visits are organized as a part of learning beyond the classroom curriculum. SOAR has after school study hall which students can join for further enrichment.

Taking part in these activities help students in boosting their confidence and social skills. A growing body of research shows the benefits of extracurricular experiences in developing teamwork, time management and resilience and providing crucial relief from the pressures of the modern world.
